As students read, SoloStudies monitors accuracy, timing, and error patterns. When a student misreads or hesitates, the system doesn't provide the answer—it delivers research-based prompts to help them decode independently.
Starts with minimal cues and provides more explicit guidance only when needed. Prompts include visual syllable segmentation, vowel team highlighting, prefix/suffix identification, and sound-symbol cues.
Prompts like "tap the sounds," "look for a vowel team," or "divide the word into parts" encourage students to apply decoding strategies rather than passively receive answers.
